As I am writing this it is 1-0 Phillies on Openings Day in Pittsburgh, PA.  Roy Halladay has never pitched a complete game or a shut out on Opening Day in his career, so why not do both today!  What would make this experience better is if Roy was on Twitter discussing this game with his fans, but I highly doubt a machine like Doc would ever use social media during the game.  This article discusses the new Social Media Policy for the MLB, and what a good job they did of making it straight forward and simple.  This is really a great way to chat with other fans, get some behind-the-scenes looks at your team, and view great pictures from people who are in attendance at the game.  Nice work MLB, make your game a little less boring for folks who can’t sit through 3 hours of game.
