According to the Washington Post, Yesterday Sony executives talked about the release of the PlayStation 4 which is slated to be available to the public for the 2013 holiday season. Although images of the actual device were not revealed, Mark Cerny, lead system architect on the PlayStation 4 demonstrated the updated controller, which adds a touchpad and a “share” button. The new controller also features a light bar, which means a new PlayStation camera can track the device for motion control .The PS 4 will be wired for the Internet. “Our long-term vision is to reduce download times of digital titles to zero,” said Mark Cerny, the lead system architect. With the PS4, Sony is looking to attract people who may have shifted their attention to games on Facebook, tablet computers and mobile phones. Sony says the new system is designed to interact with multiple devices. Soon you will be able to access your social media accounts via your playstation4.
