This article discusses male and female preferences when it comes to social media: what platforms have more male or female users. It also includes a little bit of analysis on human behavior, which is something I think is very interesting. For example, it states that males choose Foursquare over Pinterest, and that females tend to spend more time on Facebook than males. The article states that “women participate in social media to share information and engage in conversation. Men are more competitive and tend to watch videos, create content and dominate in posting their opinions online,” which mirrors offline statistics as well.
