O’Brien: Social Media in 2012 Elections Will Make 2008 Look Like Digital Dark Ages

President Obama’s at it again and this time it seems like he’s getting better. The Obama campaign is using social media sites like Facebook and Twitter for the 2012 election to communicate with voters. The amount of social media usage has and will continue to surpass what was done for the 2008 election. While this shows that Obama’s camp understands the importance of connecting with US citizens on their own level, we will all have to wait until November to see how effective it all turns out to be.
