Social networking sites fueling stalking report warns

Do you have a stalker? You may not be able to tell, but your phone might be. Social networking sites are making it much easier for stalkers to track their victims. With the addition of computer or phone spyware or GPS, stalkers can keep track of their victims in more advanced ways. Spyware can allow a stalker to listen to or intercept calls, monitor text messages or locate a device without the knowledge of the device’s owner. With the location feature on Facebook, you may unknowingly be telling your stalker exactly where to find you. So although the potential risks are high, ask yourself, “is this enough risk to make me give up Facebook and my cell phone?”
