Facebook, Twitter taking over
Social media, for better or worse, is changing the way recruiting game is played

This article talks about how the communication in college football recruiting between recruits and coaches are going more towards social media. Because this is a new trend the NCAA restrictions on it are not as strict as normal communication rules. Because almost all recruits are using some form of social media, coaches are using this not only to send regular messages to recruits but also to see what type of information they are posting and see if it is a player they really want. Even old coaches who are not so computer friendly have to learn how to use social media because like one coach said, “If you are not using it, you will fall way behind.”
